- INTRODUCTION
The Somali Media Women Association (SOMWA) is undertaking a nationwide mapping exercise of Somali women journalists and media professionals across Banadir, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Jubaland, Puntland, and South West State.
Building on Bilan Media — Somalia’s first all-women newsroom and a role model for women journalists — SOMWA will, over the coming months, map and connect women working in the media sector across Somalia.
- PURPOSE OF THE RFQ
SOMWA seeks a reliable and experienced travel agency/service provider capable of arranging domestic air travel for authorized project personnel travelling to and from 6 locations covered by the mapping exercise: Garowe, Kismayo, Lascanood, Baidoa, Dhusamareeb and Baldweyne.
- SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Domestic flight bookings.
- Return and one-way air tickets as requested.
- Flight itinerary planning.
- Ticket issuance and confirmation.
- Changes and rebooking where required.
- Cancellation/refund support where applicable.
- Timely communication regarding flight schedules and changes.
- Official invoices and supporting travel documentation.
- GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE
Flights may be required between Mogadishu/Banadir and locations within or serving Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Jubaland, Puntland, and South West State. Other domestic routes may be requested depending on the final mapping schedule.

- Capacity to manage changes and urgent travel requests.
- A dedicated contact person for SOMWA.
- Quotation Validity
The quotation should remain valid for at least [30/60/90] days from the submission deadline.
