- INTRODUCTION
Somali Media Women Association (SOMWA) is undertaking a nationwide mapping exercise of Somali women journalists and media professionals across Banadir, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Jubaland, Puntland, and South West State.
Building on Bilan Media — Somalia’s first all-women newsroom and a role model for women journalists — SOMWA will, over the coming months, map and connect women working in the media sector across Somalia.
- PURPOSE OF THE RFQ
SOMWA seeks qualified accommodation providers capable of offering safe, clean, secure, and reliable accommodation for authorized project personnel during the mapping exercise.
- SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Standard accommodation for authorized project personnel.
- Clean and secure rooms.
- Breakfast where applicable.
- Reliable water and electricity.
- Internet/Wi-Fi where available.
- Appropriate security arrangements.
- Flexible check-in and check-out arrangements.
- Official invoices and supporting documentation suitable for institutional procurement.
- GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE
Accommodation may be required in locations within Banadir, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Jubaland, Puntland, and South West State.

- PROVIDER REQUIREMENTS
- Legally registered and operational.
- Adequate and secure accommodation facilities.
- Acceptable standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Experience accommodating staff from NGOs, UN agencies, development organizations, or other institutions.
- Ability to provide official invoices and receipts.
- Appropriate security arrangements.
- Capacity to accommodate bookings according to agreed schedules.
- Quotation Validity
The quotation should remain valid for at least [30/60/90] days from the submission deadline.
