- INTRODUCTION
The Somali Media Women Association (SOMWA) is undertaking a nationwide mapping exercise of Somali women journalists and media professionals across Banadir, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Jubaland, Puntland, and South West State.
Building on Bilan Media — Somalia’s first all-women newsroom and a role model for women journalists — SOMWA will, over the coming months, map and connect women working in the media sector across Somalia.
- PURPOSE OF THE RFQ
SOMWA seeks a reliable and experienced transportation company to provide safe, professional, and timely ground transportation for authorized personnel undertaking the mapping exercise.
- SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Provide reliable vehicles suitable for field travel.
- Provide transportation within and between designated locations.
- Provide experienced drivers familiar with local routes.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in safe and roadworthy condition.
- Provide transportation according to agreed travel schedules.
- Provide flexibility for reasonable changes to field itineraries.
- Include fuel and other operational costs associated with the quoted vehicle service unless clearly stated otherwise.
- GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE
Transportation services may be required in Banadir, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, Jubaland, Puntland, and South West State.

- COMPANY REQUIREMENTS
- Legally registered and authorized to operate.
- Proven experience providing transportation services to NGOs, UN agencies, development organizations, or other institutions.
- Adequate vehicles available for the assignment.
- Qualified and experienced drivers.
- Capacity to operate in the targeted locations.
- Appropriate vehicle insurance and documentation.
- Reliable and timely service.
Quotation Validity
The quotation should remain valid for at least [30/60/90] days from the submission deadline.
